Entries about Check Patterns

Auditions for spots in the Fall 2010 percussion section will take place on Tuesday, May 25th and Thursday, May 27th, 2010. Auditions are open to any interested student (8th graders too!). These auditions will determine instrumentation and placement for next fall’s percussion section.

Just a quick update here. Last week we got through all 14 duple check variations (good work!!!). Let’s keep this positive momentum going and continue working on these at home. A few key focuses when practicing at home so that these get better at rehearsal.
