“Raining Oil” Sheet Music

Winter Percussion is Over
We are moving out of winter percussion mode and into summer sectional rehearsals. Our group is rehearsing for the upcoming marching band season.
Auditions for Fall 2010
Auditions for spots in the Fall 2010 percussion section will take place on Tuesday, May 25th and Thursday, May 27th, 2010. Auditions are open to any interested student (8th graders too!). These auditions will determine instrumentation and placement for next fall’s percussion section.
Triplet Check Patterns
Thom Hannum’s Triplet Check Patterns are designed to build a rhythmic vocabulary in the triplet feel. Like the Duple Check Patterns, they are a set of basic patterns that will ultimately help students play harder, more complex phrases.
