Bring A Metronome

Just a friendly reminder: if you own a metronome (or several metronomes), please bring them to class tonight. We will decide for you if your metronome is acceptable of if you’ll need a new one.

Where to get a real metronome

As mentioned in class, Guitar Center is selling Doctor Beat metronomes at reasonable prices. They have a smaller version that would be perfect for our needs. Check out their Doctor Beat DB 30 for $40.

Update from Alex

Also let’s be a bit more ready to play the check patterns correctly the first time. So if we say check 11, we can hit it 100% the first time. We will no longer be demonstrating each check before we play it, so please learn them all and commit them to memory for tonight.
