Auditions for spots in the Fall 2010 percussion section will take place on Tuesday, May 25th and Thursday, May 27th, 2010. Auditions are open to any interested student (8th graders too!). These auditions will determine instrumentation and placement for next fall’s percussion section.
Audition Grading Sheets
Pit and battery have slightly different criteria. Here are the grading sheets and point scales for each section.
Instruments & Placement
Each student will be given an overall score, based on the criteria on the grading sheet. Students will indicate which instrument they prefer. Priority placement on each instrument will be awarded to the highest scoring auditions.
Any student who does not audition will be placed on instruments after those students who do audition.
